Power Pack One arrives.
Tranquil PC plan to ship ALL Windows Home Servers with the much anticipated Power Pack 1 (PP1) update from week commencing 21st July 2008.
All T7-HSAi and T2-WHS-A3i units will include PP1 during that week.
What is PP1 …. ??
Power Pack 1 provides a range of new enhancements, including support for home computers running Windows Vista x64 editions, backup of home server Shared Folders, improvements to remote access, more efficient power consumption, improved performance, and support for the Chinese and Japanese languages.
Power Pack 1 is an update to Windows Home Server that provides a range of new enhancements, including:
• Support for computers running Vista x64
• Backup of home server Shared Folders
• Improved remote access
• More efficient power consumption
• Support for the Chinese and Japanese languages
• Updates to improve performance and reliability, including a fix for the data corruption bug outlined in Knowledge Base article 946676.
If you already own a Tranquil PC Home Server, your unit will AUTOMATICALLY update with PP1 during August.
