Day 5
Still no power outages at home, all is good with the fridge…. Today, I installed Perfect Disk for WHS… very cool software, it includes a 5 client license pack and at a very reasonable cost… you can also connect to WHS to defragment it from a client. The only thing that’s missing is a plugin which lets you administer it remotely from the Admin Console. Apparently this is coming in the not too distant future… I’ll definitely look forward to that…
So, how long would 850GB of data take to defrag… well I was about to find out, the disk should be in a good state, I’ve only just copied the data onto the disk… but it doesn’t mean it’s stored efficiently.
